Praying together points us to Jesus. In Matthew, Jesus reminds us of the power of community prayer:
“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

Led by Christine Pickup, a small group meets weekly to pray, using Zoom and readings suggested in the Day by Day booklet. All are welcome to join at 9am each Monday. This format will be used for the last time on November 25, 2024. NOTE THE CHANGE IN ZOOM LINK below.

Starting the first Monday of the Advent season, December 2, 2024, until the Monday after Candlemas, February 3, 2025, the Monday morning Zoom session will use The Morning Prayer from Northumbria Community’s Celtic Daily Prayer. You can learn more at the following link.

Thanks to the Reverend Sarah Hedgis-Kligerman at St. Peter's Episcopal Church for the introduction to this particular office.
Book club follows the prayer session.

On Mondays from November 25-December 16, the time of prayer will be followed by an Advent book study, using Walter Brueggemann's Names for the Messiah. Copies are available from the church - contact Rev. Chris at rector@old-swedes.org.

NOTE THE CHANGE IN THE ZOOM LINK. We will use the parish Zoom link instead.
